Bashammakh – Photography for Website

Ideative Studio2026

Project Overview

Ideative Studio produced premium product photography for Bashammakh’s website — a carefully art-directed shoot that captured each product from three distinct angles against a deep black backdrop, emphasising the craftsmanship and quality that define the brand.

The Challenge

Bashammakh’s products demand photography that communicates precision and premium quality. Their website is the primary sales and brand-building channel, and the existing product imagery wasn’t doing justice to the actual products. In a market where Saudi consumers increasingly research and purchase online, weak product photography directly translates to lost revenue.

Our Approach

We designed the shoot around a dark, editorial aesthetic — a deep black backdrop that would isolate each product and let its details command attention. Every item was photographed from three carefully selected angles: a hero front-facing shot, a detail close-up that highlighted material quality, and an angled composition that communicated form and dimension. Lighting was meticulously controlled to bring out textures and finishes without introducing harsh reflections or flat spots.

The Deliverables

  • Three-angle product photography for the full product catalogue
  • High-resolution images optimised for website display and e-commerce
  • Consistent visual treatment across all products for a unified website experience
  • Files delivered in web-ready and print-ready formats

The Impact

The new product photography transformed Bashammakh’s website from a functional catalogue into a premium brand experience. The consistent, high-quality imagery gave visitors an immediate sense of the brand’s calibre, and the detailed multi-angle approach reduced the uncertainty that often prevents online purchase decisions.

The X – Valentines Day

Ideative Studio2026

Project Overview

Ideative Studio created the Valentine’s Day campaign photography for The X — a seasonal activation that required creative design and strategic visual execution to drive awareness and foot traffic during one of the year’s key commercial moments.

The Challenge

Valentine’s Day has become a significant retail moment in Saudi Arabia, and brands face intense competition for consumer attention in a narrow window. The X needed campaign imagery that felt romantic and aspirational without being cliched — standing apart from the sea of predictable red-and-pink aesthetics that flood every feed in February.

Our Approach

We developed a creative direction that reinterpreted Valentine’s Day through The X’s unique brand lens — maintaining the season’s emotional warmth while introducing unexpected visual elements that made the content distinctive. Our photography team crafted compositions that balanced product focus with mood and atmosphere, producing images that worked as both standalone social media content and cohesive campaign storytelling.

The Deliverables

  • Creative concept and art direction for the Valentine’s Day campaign
  • Professional campaign photography — styled product and lifestyle shots
  • Social media-ready assets in multiple formats and aspect ratios
  • Hero imagery for web banners and in-store displays

The Impact

The campaign delivered a Valentine’s Day presence that felt fresh and on-brand. The X’s seasonal content stood out during a period when most competitors defaulted to safe, predictable visuals — resulting in stronger audience engagement and a distinct campaign identity.

The X – Ramadan Campaign

Ideative Studio2026

Project Overview

Ideative Studio was commissioned to lead the art direction, photography, and videography for The X’s Ramadan campaign — a project that demanded cultural sensitivity, visual sophistication, and fast turnaround during the holiest month on the Saudi calendar.

The Challenge

Ramadan campaigns in Saudi Arabia carry enormous weight. The audience is deeply engaged, expectations are high, and the cultural significance of the season means that generic or tone-deaf content is immediately rejected. The X needed a campaign that felt authentic to the spirit of Ramadan while remaining true to their brand identity.

Our Approach

We developed a visual narrative rooted in warmth, togetherness, and the quieter moments of Ramadan that resonate most with Saudi audiences. The art direction leaned into rich, warm tones and intimate compositions — moving away from the loud, commercial aesthetic that saturates the market during the season. Our photography and videography teams worked in close coordination to ensure a unified look across stills and motion, creating assets that told a cohesive story from feed post to reel.

The Deliverables

  • Full art direction and creative concept for the Ramadan campaign
  • Professional photography suite — product shots and lifestyle imagery
  • Short-form video content optimised for Instagram and TikTok
  • Campaign visual guidelines for internal team use during Ramadan

The Impact

The campaign stood out during one of the most crowded content periods of the year. The X’s Ramadan presence felt considered and culturally grounded rather than opportunistic, which translated into strong audience engagement and positive brand sentiment throughout the month.

Event Photography in Riyadh: What Every Organizer Should Know

Ideative Studio2026

Events Are Investments. Photography Is How You Get Returns.

Whether it’s a corporate conference, product launch, brand activation, or private gala, events require significant investment — in venue, catering, speakers, production, and logistics. The lifespan of that investment is determined almost entirely by how well it was documented. Without strong photography, the event ends when the last guest leaves. With it, it continues generating value — in marketing, press, investor relations, and social content — for months or years.

In Riyadh, where the pace of business events has accelerated dramatically under Vision 2030, professional event photography has become a baseline expectation rather than an optional upgrade.

What Professional Event Photography Covers

A skilled event photographer doesn’t just take pictures — they tell the story of the event across multiple layers:

The best event photography captures all of these without interrupting the flow of the event itself. Guests should barely notice the photographer is there — but every important moment should be covered.

Planning Makes All the Difference

The gap between average and excellent event photography is almost always in the preparation, not the equipment. Before any large event, a professional photographer will:

For events in Riyadh’s major venues — from the Ritz-Carlton and Fairmont to Purpose-built conference centers and Diriyah-area event spaces — venue familiarity matters. Lighting in Saudi conference venues is frequently mixed and challenging; knowing how to work with it in advance produces sharper, more consistent results.

What to Ask Your Photographer Before Booking

Not all event photographers have the same experience level or deliverable quality. Before confirming a booking, ask:

After the Event: Making the Most of Your Images

Final images should be delivered in organized folders by category — speakers, networking, details, etc. — with web-ready and high-resolution versions of each. From there, a good content strategy can stretch a single event across weeks of social content, press placements, and internal communications.

Ideative Studio handles event photography across Riyadh and the wider Kingdom, with a team experienced in corporate, hospitality, and government-adjacent events. We build the shot list with you, coordinate on-site, and deliver organized, edited galleries within agreed turnaround windows — so the event keeps working for your brand long after it’s over.
