The X – Ramadan

Ideative Studio2025

an class="inserted--sup--text inserted--ls--hold false elementor-repeater-item-2d4b6b4" >( Project Goals )an> The X retained Ideative Studio to create a Ramadan campaign that captured the spirit of the holy month while driving foot traffic and brand affinity during Saudi Arabia's highest-stakes consumer season. The scope required art direction, photography, and full video production — all unified under a single campaign concept that would resonate authentically with a Saudi audience.

Ideative developed the campaign concept in-house, grounding it in the cultural weight of Ramadan — the gatherings, the generosity, the atmosphere of Riyadh at night. The production team executed across multiple shoot days, delivering stills and video assets formatted for every platform. Every visual decision was made to amplify the campaign theme with precision rather than cliché.

( Project Scope )

  • Campaign concept development and art direction
  • Full-day photography production: lifestyle, product, and atmospheric stills
  • Short-form video production: hero campaign film and cut-downs for social media
  • Photo and video post-production: color grading, retouching, and motion graphics
  • Packaged deliverables for Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, and out-of-home use

( Challenges )

Every project presents its own complexities. Here is what we navigated:

  • ( 001 )
Ramadan content in Saudi Arabia is intensely competitive — every brand publishes at the same time, making differentiation critical
  • ( 002 )
The campaign needed to feel genuinely celebratory and culturally resonant rather than commercially forced — a fine balance for a lifestyle venue
  • ( 003 )
Tight production window between brief sign-off and the start of Ramadan, requiring fast creative decisions without sacrificing quality

(Results )

The Ramadan campaign became one of The X's strongest seasonal performances — creative output that stood apart in a market saturated with Ramadan content.

  • 1.
Full Ramadan campaign suite delivered on schedule — photography, video content, and social media assets covering the entire holy month
  • 2.
Campaign visuals stood out clearly in a saturated market, drawing strong engagement across The X's social channels
  • 3.
Content library produced in this campaign was reused across multiple touchpoints, extending the value of the production investment

Cha – Photography for Delivery Apps

Ideative Studio2025

an class="inserted--sup--text inserted--ls--hold false elementor-repeater-item-2d4b6b4" >( Project Goals )an> Cha brought Ideative Studio in to produce professional food photography specifically engineered for performance on Saudi delivery platforms — HungerStation, Jahez, and ToYou. The goal was not simply beautiful photography, but imagery optimised for the delivery app interface: thumbnail-scale clarity, appetite-driving colour accuracy, and visual consistency across the full menu. In a listing environment where a single image determines whether a customer taps or scrolls past, the stakes are direct and commercial.

We approached the shoot with the delivery app UI as the primary frame of reference — every composition, lighting decision, and styling choice was made with small-screen performance in mind. Bold, well-lit frames that read clearly at 200 pixels. Colour accuracy that represents dishes as they actually arrive. Consistent visual treatment across the entire menu to create a listing that communicates quality and trustworthiness at a glance.

( Project Scope )

Producing a complete suite of food photography for Cha, purpose-built for performance on Saudi delivery platforms — HungerStation, Jahez, and ToYou.

  • Delivery-platform-optimised food photography
  • Menu item photography across all categories
  • Hero shots and banner imagery for app listings
  • Styling and art direction for small-screen impact
  • Final assets formatted for each platform's specifications

( Challenges )

Delivery app photography has a specific performance brief that goes beyond aesthetics. These were the tensions we had to resolve:

  • ( 001 )
( 001 ) Food that photographs well in person often looks flat on a small screen — every frame needed engineering for the app UI
  • ( 002 )
( 002 ) High item volume required consistent visual quality across dozens of dishes without repetition
  • ( 003 )
( 003 ) Styling for delivery apps demands clarity and appetite appeal simultaneously — no props that confuse or distract
  • ( 004 )
( 004 ) Matching the speed of a commercial shoot day while maintaining editorial-level standards for each shot
  • ( 005 )
( 005 ) Delivering assets formatted simultaneously for three platforms with different image dimension requirements

(Results )

Cha's delivery app listings went from functional to standout — professional imagery that converts browsers into buyers at the exact moment the decision is made.

  • 1.
Full menu photography suite delivered and live across all three delivery platforms
  • 2.
Consistent visual identity achieved across all food categories
  • 3.
Improved listing presentation directly supporting conversion at the point of order
  • 4.
Brand perceived as more premium and reliable based on visual quality alone
  • 5.
Reusable asset library enabling ongoing content without additional shoots
